The Hives Announce Tour and Enlist Mike D and Josh Homme for New Album

The Hives have announced a new album. Co-produced with Beastie Boys’ Mike D and featuring contributions from Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh HommeThe Hives Forever Forever the Hives is the Swedish garage rockers’ follow-up to 2023’s The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons. It’s led by the single “Enough Is Enough,” which is out today alongside a pugilistic music video directed by filmmaker Eik Kockum and filmed in Bucharest. Watch it below.

The Hives Forever Forever the Hives is out August 29 via Play It Again Sam. In the meantime, the band—Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan and Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem—will hit the road for a tour in support of the album, which will kick off July 17 in Australia, with stops in Japan, North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom before wrapping up December 6 at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena.
