Exploding with star power, in-demand entertainer Chase Matthew follows the wildly successful album launch of CHASE with the world premiere of his six-part MAVTV Original docuseries, Chase’n. Hosting an advance screening on Wednesday night (2/26) at Warner Music Nashville, key industry tastemakers, friends, and family of Matthew came together to watch the first episode ahead of the March 12 debut airing exclusively on MAVTV and the MAVTV GO App.
Blending the grit of Nashville’s music scene with the adrenaline of car culture, Chase’n gives viewers an in-depth look at the Lucas Oil brand ambassador’s relentless pursuit of both musical success and mechanical mastery. From recording and performing new songs, to getting his hands dirty under the hood of his favorite rides, and giving back to the community that raised him, fans can check out each new episode of Chase’n on Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT this spring on MAVTV – available via cable providers including YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Spectrum, DIRECTV, Verizon, U-verse, and many more. Viewers can alternatively watch MAVTV via the MAVTV GO App, and catch up on all episodes of the series through the App a day after they air on the network with a MAVTV GO Premium plan.
Marking the second massive event held by Matthew in less than a week, he packed Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium this past Friday (2/21) during his highly anticipated SOLD-OUT hometown headline debut at the historic venue. In true celebration of delivering his third studio LP, the setlist for the album release show was loaded with songs off the 13-track collection (which features nine he co-wrote including the poignant, solo-written and co-produced “WAITING ON YOU TO CALL.”) Welcoming special guests to the stage like his dad (for “Born for This” – see a clip from American Songwriter here), plus his momma and mamaw (for an emotional cover of Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me”), Matthew also surprised the at-capacity crowd with Lauren Alaina popping up for their CHASE duet “HEART HALF EMPTY.” Adding in fan-favorite career hits like PLATINUM-certified “County Line,” he tacked two more smashes to the lineup – PLATINUM-certified “Love You Again” and GOLD-certified current single “Darlin’” (see a clip from Billboard Country here) – after receiving plaques for brand-new RIAA certifications while appearing at SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour (hosted by Buzz Brainard) earlier in the night.
Garnering high-profile press support for CHASE across CMT Hot 20 Countdown, Entertainment Tonight, American Songwriter’s March | April 2025 Issue, NPR, Stereogum, and The Tennessean, among others, Matthew is currently bringing this new music to his 2025 WORLD TOUR.
